A fabulous vintage mink cape with exceptionally soft, supple fur (but please see Condition section for details). Beautiful retro style and very snuggly--perfect for your special event, snowy winter wedding shawl (something old?), Great Gatsby party, or even jeans and heels.

~SIZE~
About a small to medium, but please go by the measurements:
Across at about bust level, 28"
Length in back, 18" from base of collar
Shoulders, up to about 16"
For reference, my mannequin (with arms) is a tall size 4 wearing this cape.
~CONDITION~
Fur: Fair vintage. Fresh and silky and incredibly pliable, like fabric--may have been cold-stored. But please note that there is significant guard-hair loss; looks like this fur was munched on by moths in quite a number of areas (see close-up photos for most visible areas). As you can tell from the photos, this is still a lovely fur, but price takes into account this damage. Very faint vintage scent.
Lining: Excellent vintage. All I can find are a few very small scuffs/marks, barely worth mentioning.
Overall: An adorable style, amazingly supple skins, lower price because of guard-hair issues.

**A note about buying pre-owned furs: Part of what gives
vintage items
their charm and personality is their sense of history. Please keep in mind that all pre-loved furs--even those in excellent or near-new condition--will show some signs of wear. In most cases, I don't have information about previous owners and how they cared for or stored the coat, or previous repairs (if any), so the coat's current state is what I go by in my descriptions. That said, I have very high standards and unlike with most online sellers you'll encounter (who use the term "vintage" to describe a very wide range of conditions), when you purchase a fur stole or coat from me, you know exactly what you are buying. Of course, if perfection is more your style, please take a look at my brand-new items. But if you're drawn to items with quirks that make them absolutely unique and absolutely your own, this vintage fur would be a wonderful addition to your wardrobe.

RETURNS:
Some of my items are listed with a return policy. If this is the case, item must be returned at buyer's expense within 14 days in exactly the condition they were received: unworn, with all original tags attached.
A refund will be given for the purchase price; shipping costs are nonrefundable.
Removing or tampering with the store tag attached to your item will invalidate the return.
