Condition
: An old and stable crack or "check" is
present
on one side of the sliding block--no matter, this tool will outlive us both! A little TLC and a replacement, or sharpened marking spike will have this handsome old tool back to what is was made for. Tune it up as you see fit. Add this old gem to your hand tool arsenal, or put it on display as a fine example of the toolmaking craft.
