Marklin Z Scale Express Train Skirted 5 Car Set VINTAGE
I do not have the original box but this set looks to be an older Marklin version of the current 87357. Slight differences in graphics to the current set however all other details of the bodies look to be the same. Hence, the same molds were used.
Following description from the Marklin website for 87357:
Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) type AB4ü express train passenger cars, 1st/2nd class. German Sleeping Car and Dining Car Company(DSG) type WR4üe, skirted dining car, used on the German Federal Railroad (DB).The cars look as they did around 1953.
Model: This is a five-part express train passenger car set consisting of four 1st/2nd class skirted express train passenger cars and a DSG dining car (skirted car). The cars have the correct paint scheme and lettering.
The current 87357 retail price on Marklin website new is Euro 200.00 which is approx USD 240.00.
